Supriya Singh began her tryst with travel early in life, when her father was posted in the remote North Eastern parts of India, with practically every weekend spent exploring the remote north east including Kaziranga and Manas, two of India's premier wildlife sanctuaries. A graduate of History from Delhi University and trained in "Bharat Natyam", an Indian Classical dance form – she was exposed to art and culture from her early years. Having worked with American Express, for eleven years Supriya learnt professionalism and small nuances of the travel business. With a passion for travel, history and trying out local cuisine, she adds her own perspective of India, from a woman's point of view, revealing aspects of Indian culture so different from anywhere else in the world! Married with two children, Supriya lives in New Delhi and enjoys playing Golf, Bridge and travelling with her husband and family.
Hashmat Singh:
Consultant, Global Marketing
Hiking and running are his main passions along with photography and travel writing. He has been following these passions from school itself and took it one step further by following it professionally once out of college.
At present he has 35 years of being in the travel industry, with no signs of let-up.
He has led over 200 journeys on three continents since 1985. He holds a BA in History from Delhi University and is
a noted photographer. His book, Trekking in the Himalaya (Roli Books), features photographic essays from Ladakh to Bhutan.
Born an army brat, Hashmat traveled extensively as his father was posted in various remote regions of India.
His first big Himalayan trek was at age 12, with his school group, and during college,
he headed into the Himalaya to take mountaineering courses. “Big mountains of the world, whether they are
in the Himalaya, Alps, or the Andes, hold a special fascination for me, as do the people living amongst them,
holding on to their ancient cultures in a world where everything is rapidly changing.” A passionate traveler,
Hashmat has been instrumental in designing and leading adventures for us throughout Asia, Europe and South America.
